Easy Last Minute Ideas For Fall

The count down has begun! Can you believe there are only 8 days left until the turkey is carved? So, today I figured I would share some easy last minute ideas to get you through Fall/Thanksgiving Holiday. So let's get started!

These diy wreaths may look quite intimidating but on the contrary they aren't at all. To get this look you will need a grapevine wreath, garland of your choice, floral wire and ribbon. Simply take the garland and place it around the wreath. Once the garland is in place attach it to the wreath using floral wire. Next, add the bow and hang the wreath. Project complete! Your family and friends will be impressed. For best results make sure that the garland is long enough to cover the entire circumference of the wreath.

If the wreath above is still a bit much, why not give this wreath a try? The only things needed are a grapevine wreath and ribbon of your choice. Now make a big bow and attach it to the wreath. Voila! I used a pipe cleaner/chenille stem to attach the bow above.

If creating a wreath is not an option you can purchase a ready made wreath instead. Just hang it and you're done. How's that for instant gratification?

To add a touch of fall to your entry or any room in your home, simply place beautiful potpourri in your favorite bowl, dish or container. Not only does the potpourri make for a delightful display, it smells good too!
.

No time for potpourri, let a scented plugin do the trick. Simply plug it in and in no time, your house will be filled with the scents of the season.

Don't know what to do with those pumpkins? Try grouping them together to create interest and impact. This idea can work with whatever extra Fall stuff you may have. Just be sure to group like objects together.

Have an empty vase available? If so, you can create this easy floral arrangement. Fill a vase half full with plastic bags. The bags will be used to hold the floral stems in place. Next, stick the stems/bushes of your choice into the vase and arrange them however you like. Then find the perfect place to display your arrangement.

To make your guest feel super special nix the plain white paper towels. and display beautiful napkins in your powder bath that relay a message, quote, or scripture. Need more ideas? Keep scrolling!!!

For just $2 each, you can add a splash of Fall to your kitchen with these lovely dish towels.(Walmart) Just hang them over your cabinet door/doors and you're done!

Pressed for time, instead of an elaborate table setting like the one pictured above try doing something a lot simpler like the table setting below.

The only thing needed to add a pop of Fall to this table setting was a fall leaf. It doesn't get much easier than that. You like?

Need a quick and easy centerpiece? Fill your favorite accessory with pine cones, pumpkins. acorns or whatever you have on hand. You will be amazed at how good it actually looks.

Lastly, to make your over night guest/guests feel loved, place a scented candle inside of a gift box. Then add a bow. Your guest will always remember this kind gesture.
So, there you have it. My easy last minute ideas for Fall. If you found any of these ideas to be useful, I would love to hear from you. Please leave a comment below.

Happy Fall,

Lory

My Fall Table

There are only nine days left until Thanksgiving. And I am so excited because I get to share it with close friends and family. By the way, the grand baby will be here too! Yay! Ok, back to the post.   My Fall Table turned out quite lovely if I must say so myself. This year instead of using a table cloth, I used a variety of fabric samples swatches to cover the table. So, what do you think? I love all the different colors patterns and textures, and they actually play off each other nicely. And I am hoping the fabric sample table cover will be a great conversation starter as well. I will let you know how it goes. Spode  China and pumpkins from the Dollar Tree who knew? Initially the table had two fall wreaths and two lanterns. You can see it here. But I had to remove one of each to make room for the table settings. You know how I love animal print. I think every room needs a little touch of it. How about you?

How I decorated my Christmas Tree/Foyer for less than $30

I am over the super excited to bring you one of several posts revealing how I decorated my Christmas Tree/Foyer for less than $30.Yes,you heard me right. And I must say it looks quite fabulous, but before the reveal can take place, we have to go through the process. Sorry!!! So, keep reading to find out how I transformed the space for so little. Each year I try to incorporate creative ways to decorate my home on an extremely tight budget, and this year was no exception. But in order to get the ball rolling on this project, I needed some inspiration. Well, my inspiration came via a promise I made to my grand baby. I promised her that Zsa Zsa(that's me) would decorate a Christmas tree she would love. However, with that being said, I also knew the design/decor had to be whimsical and playful enough for her. But it also had to appeal to the adults in the family as well. (mainly me) So, I put my design thinking cap on and came up with a plan, that I thought would appeal to both partie
